Claudio Vandi
Claudio (@vandicla) is Silicon Xperience expert in Usability and Cognitive Ergonomics. He has a background in Semiotics and Communication Science (University of Bologna, Italy) and Cognitive Psychology (EPHE and University of Paris 8) that led him to explore different research subjects: how metaphors are used in user-computer interfaces, how users transfer habits of interaction across interfaces and how new digital reading interfaces change the way we read and understand texts on screen. He has been working as a researcher at LUTIN Userlab,as project manager at Universcience, Cité des sciences et de l'industrie and as an expert for the European Satellite Navigation Competition. He is the main author of the white paper: "Seniors and Interactive tablets" and he recently published a book titled "L'usabilità, modelli e progettazione" (Usability: Models and Design). He likes strong coffee, film photography and Wordpress.
Hélène Girard
Hélène Girard comes from political sciences and immersed herself in the world of new technologies in the Laboratory TECH / SENSE Orange Labs. Sociology of ICT uses and her eclectic professional experience led her to a multidisciplinary approach to bottom-up innovation. Project manager in Silicon Xperience, she is involved in La Cantine's innovative research fields.
Dilara Vanessa Trupia
As a young researcher in sociology of science and ICTs, she's been working with Silicon Sentier // La Cantine since 2009, on various studies within' the lab. Working on one hand with emerging communities like Crisiscamps, and on the Cantines network on the other, she's preparing a PhD thesis at LATTS, on computer-aided new community-centric organizational models applied in the physical spaces like co-working space, La Cantine.
